Edsel Cadet.

In A Few Words...

Pastor Edsel Benjamin Cadet is an ordained minister of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, born and raised in Queens, New York, and of Haitian descent. He is a graduate of Stony Brook University with a Bachelor’s in English, the Andrews University Theological Seminary with a Master of Divinity, and William James College (formerly the Massachusetts School of Professional Psychology) with a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, specializing in couples and family therapy with an emphasis on African, African American, and Caribbean Mental Health. He is currently completing his doctorate in Clinical Psychology and hopes to use both his theological and clinical training to serve his community. Pastor Cadet has led mental health and equity workshops for churches, community centers, conferences, Northeastern University, and Everett City Hall.

Pastor Cadet joined the Northeastern Conference and was later ordained to the gospel ministry. A sought-after international speaker, he has preached across the United States, Costa Rica, Canada, Germany, Australia, South Africa, and the United Kingdom—where he also met his wife, Nyasha. One of his sermons was published as the feature article in the Adventist Review, and he co-authored Still Thirsty, a book that helps believers discover God’s vision for intimacy and biblical sexuality. He currently serves as Pastor of the Berea SDA Church in Massachusetts and as Area Coordinator for the New England North Area.
