Food Pantry

Berea Food Pantry has been in operation for over 30yrs. We began partnering with the  Greater Boston Food Bank in 1993.

We continue to primarily serve the communities of Dorchester, Roxbury, Mattapan, and welcome community members in the Greater Boston area. At the Berea Food Pantry, we are proud to  continue partnership with the Greater Boston Food Bank, as we aim to meet the basic human need of food and strive to lower food insecurity especially among lower income families.

We believe that food should not be a privilege but a basic human right and no one should ever go hungry. We have over 35 hardworking volunteers who help in the operations of the pantry , sorting and packing to distribute to our communities. We would love to serve you!!!

Hours of Operation
Berea Food Pantry hours of operation is the first and third Thursday of every month. From 8am to 11am. However if you have an emergency for food, please call Berea Food Pantry at 617-427-2201.Leave your name, phone number and family composition and a food pantry volunteer will return your call
